Within 400 metres of the station car parking is at a more sensible ratio of .4/.5 per dwelling. This sensible ratio enables the carpark to be consolidated under the building and thereby means we can provide 47% of deep soil to the landscape area, well above the poor 7% minimum of the ADG.
More deep soil is essential for ameliorating the urban heat island effect and essential for meeting and exceeding state government tree cover targets, as well as encouraging birdlife, wild life and a good life.
